How Much Do You Know About The Common Failure Points Of Smoke Exhaust Fan Chassis?

High-temperature smoke exhaust fan housings for fire protection are widely used as an alternative to fire exhaust fans due to their higher air volume, greater power, and wide range of installation applications.

High-temperature smoke exhaust fan housings for fire protection are widely used as an alternative to fire exhaust fans due to their higher air volume, greater power, and wide range of installation applications. They are widely used in residential buildings, ovens, underground garages, tunnels, and other locations. Smoke exhaust fan housings offer a variety of excellent properties, including excellent high-temperature resistance, high efficiency, smaller footprint than centrifugal fans, and easy installation. So, how familiar are you with common failures of high-temperature smoke exhaust fan housings?

1. Oil stains on the impeller of the smoke exhaust fan housing can cause blade curvature and angle deformation, significantly reducing air volume and total pressure parameters, failing to meet exhaust requirements. Oil stains on the impeller can cause impeller imbalance, increased vibration, and bearing damage. Harsh environments can easily cause rust on components, damaging the fan.

2. If the working medium contains large, sticky particles, or if the air contains dust and hard particles exceeding 150 mg/m³, the smoke exhaust fan housing's performance can be compromised, and long-term effects can shorten its service life.

3. The noise of the smoke exhaust fan box will become louder after being used for a long time. At this time, it is necessary to stop the machine and check whether there is any debris at the air inlet and outlet of the fan box; check whether the bearings are worn. Bearing wear will cause the fan to vibrate and thus produce noise; check whether the shock absorber of the fan box is damaged. The function of the shock absorber is to reduce the noise generated by the vibration of the fuselage during the operation of the fan box. Therefore, when the smoke exhaust fan box is installed on the ground or hoisted, special attention should be paid to the installation and use of the shock absorber.
